Marketplace rules and buying safety
Rules for truthful listings, authorized photos, respectful contact, and safer equipment transactions.
Publish accurate information
List only equipment you are authorized to offer. Describe condition, known defects, price, currency, location, and specifications accurately. Do not publish misleading claims, fake reviews, impersonation, spam, or unlawful offers.
Respect ownership and privacy
Use photos and descriptions you own or have permission to publish. Do not expose another person's private information. Avoid showing addresses, financial details, identity documents, or unrelated people in listing photos.
Inspect before purchasing
Confirm the seller's identity, ownership, equipment condition, voltage, capacity, certifications, and suitability for your intended use. When practical, inspect equipment in person and agree on transport, collection, and payment terms before paying.
Avoid payment scams
Be cautious of urgent deposits, requests for gift cards or cryptocurrency, payment links outside an agreed transaction, and offers that seem implausible. Do not disclose passwords or verification codes. Autoshop Source does not provide equipment escrow, inspection certification, or a buyer-protection guarantee.
Keep communication respectful
Use marketplace messages for relevant equipment questions. Do not harass other users, send unsolicited promotions, or misrepresent the marketplace. Update or remove listings when equipment is no longer available.
